About Us

Founded in March 2020 by filmmakers Yonatan Nir and Almog Gurevich, DocuNation began as a way to unite people during the uncertainty of the Covid pandemic. Today, it has grown into a thriving community, inspiring compassion and hope through the power of documentary films.

Behind DocuNation is a dedicated team of filmmakers and community builders who believe in the power of audio-visual tools as catalysts for social change and personal empowerment. Every film we share is carefully chosen to highlight the universal values that inspire connection, hope, and understanding.

With over 750,000 viewers and 130 filmmakers hosted, we continue to bring creators, audiences, and communities together to foster messages of love for humanity and nature, compassion, mutual trust, and human connection.

We believe in creating a pure viewing experience, focusing solely on meaningful storytelling and human connection. Every contribution, regardless of size, significantly impacts our ability to continue this work and directly supports the filmmakers we feature.

When you choose to contribute, you're not only ensuring the future of DocuNation but also providing direct support to the talented Israeli documentary creators who share their powerful stories with us. Your generosity enables us to maintain our independence, preserve our values, and continue building bridges through cinema during these challenging times.
